Canvas Gallery Wraps:

Giclée (canvas prints) are created using an inkjet printer. At the print studio, they load a large roll - up to 40 feet long - into their high-quality, Epson printer, and send the digital image of the artwork. The print head moves quickly back and forth, spraying a combination of inks that perfectly match the color of the image. This process can take anywhere from a couple minutes to close to an hour, depending on the size of the print. Once printing is complete, the canvas print is easy to scratch. In order to keep the print like new, it is sprayed with a coating called ClearShield Canvas Guard, which protects the canvas from scratches and bumps (which are inevitable), and makes sure those beautiful colors stay bright and bold by adding UV-light protection (also present in the inks themselves). This will keep the colors from fading over time. When the coating has dried, the canvas must be wrapped around a stretcher bar frame. The edges of the print are wrapped around and stapled to the back of a custom-made wooden frame, so no hardware is visible from the front or sides. Everything is pulled very tight so the canvas does not stretch out and sag over time.

Fine Art Prints on Metallic Paper:

This Photo Metallic Paper represents a breakthrough for inkjet photo papers. This paper enables the creation of stunning prints that previously could be output only in a darkroom. The metallic, high-gloss surface on this 10-mil, 255g photo paper results in prints that are sharp, vibrant, and exceptionally rich-looking.

Plaque Mount:

The print is dry mounted onto a 3/8" wood fibreboard that is cut to size. A thin, matte or glossy plastic laminate sheet is applied to the surface and heat sealed. The edges of the plaque are bevelled at a 45-degree angle and treated with one of the many colours available. Finally, the plaque is routered on the back, ready to be hung.
